FRIENDS OF SEAFORD PRIMARY SCHOOL

The Friends of Seaford Primary School is an organisation that links the school with businesses and organisations within the local and wider community. The aim of this group is to

§        Have students connect positively to their community

§        Develop in the school community, an awareness of businesses, organisations and individuals within the wider community, along with their contribution to community life.

§        Raise the school’s profile and send a positive message about the school into the wider community.

§        To raise awareness and respect for businesses and organisations within the community.

§        Develop an awareness of the greater community of which businesses and organisations are a part.

§        Provide an avenue to promote businesses and organisations through the school newsletter.

§        Provide an opportunity for businesses and organisations to actively participate in the education of the students.

§        Increased use of resources within the local community to enhance educational opportunities.  

To become a member, simply complete the registration form and return to the school by post or email. You, in turn will receive a “Friends Pack” which will include a framed certificate, a “Friends of Seaford Primary School” sticker, an information book about the school and its programs as well as other information about the school. Businesses and organisations registered with the school will be invited to submit an advertisement which will be included in the school’s weekly newsletter and on our website. Businesses will also be given the opportunity once a year to have a featured article included on our “Friends” page in the newsletter. Invitations will also be sent to our Friends when we organise Community and Social events.
